Senior side write up for Grand final

25/9/2020

The following players will represent our iconic resort town on Sunday as they attempt to go back to back for only the third time in our clubs history.
Isaac McCrimmon- solid as a rock once again in defence and has found much more of the footy in the past month. The vice captain plays his role to perfection.
Riley O'Dwyer- the booming right footer has been ultra consistent in his role at full back and will look to shut down the dangerous Luke Faulkner like last time.
Daniel Stevens- the boy from maffra has been a revelation off half back with his silky left foot and footy smarts. Sets up and links up really well.
Riley Buntain- just a great athlete who gives Noosa so much presence whether ball is in air or on ground. A big reason why tigers are shooting for back to back flags.
Mac Johnston- I’m ripping form over the last month and looks to own his role as a key back. Courageous and talented youngster.
Harry Maher- Noosa's quarterback. Sets up so many attacking plays through pristine reading of the play and a sharp left foot. Had a brilliant COVID season.

Tyler Stack- Another super impressive year by last years norm smith medallist. Gets heaps of the footy, loves to run and bounce and Moreton bay will suit him no end.
Brett Meredith- Just oozes class. If let loose will destroy the contest with brilliant evasion and skill. A key to Noosa's success.
Jai Fitzpatrick- Noosa's rolls Royce and last years MVP is in ominous form. His evasion and poise with footy in hand has been a treat to watch for years.
Mav Pettigrove- so smart with the footy in hand and was super impressive in prelim final. Do dangerous as a small forward.
Seb Rodgers- what an inclusion Seb has been in 2020. Such a forward presence whose courage in the air has been a highlight. Very important player for Noosa!
Jack Harper- been awesome over the last month with his elite right foot coming to the forward line. Plays a very important role up forward for the Noosa side does our GM!
Will O'Dwyer- a six goal prelim final in just three qtrs. makes the younger O'Dwyer one of the most dangerous players in the competition. He is an elite right foot kick, has terrific goal sense and very high fitness levels. A key to Noosa's back to back chances.
Mitch Langan- the strapping youngster has returned from Victoria and slotted beautifully into the senior side as a key focal point. Presents well and has a beautiful right foot kick to boot.
Ben Collins- the experienced campaigner has added heaps of nous and flair to the tiger forward line. Has  great goal sense and is very clever with ball in hand.
Connor McDonald- the Brian Trist medallist from the prelim final is in terrific touch. Links up like a running ruck rover and most remember how good he was in last years GF. A massive key to the tigers flag hopes.
Mitch Fraser- yet to play a bad game for Noosa in his first season at the club. Hard, tough, totally team orientated and rarely makes a mistake. Been a huge inclusion and hard to find a better performed player in the Comp this year.

Aaron Laskey- another super consistent year for the skipper. Rarely out of the best players and leads by example with his footy prowess. Nothing would make him happier than holding that cup aloft again on Sunday.
Shadaeu Brain- well what a story. This 16 year old has been phenomenal since his senior debut often amongst the best 5 or 6 players on the ground. He is an instinctive footballer with all the skills, clean off the ground and plays like he’s has been around for well beyond his years. Had a terrific prelim and would expect the same again.
Angus Smyth- strong and tough utility who has come back into the squad at the right time. Plays well above his teenage years also and can be a key both up forward or down back. Another going for back to back glory!
Nathan Winter- club stalwart who plays his 200th senior game. Just an awesome effort from the Noosa life member whose last taste of senior premiership glory was 10 years ago in 2010. Will it be a fairy-tale for the popular on baller?
Shane Hutchison- the cult figure on baller is just a star. Hutchie sets up so many midfield attacks with smart footy nous and diesel Williams like hands. Had an outstanding year at the tigers and again will be a key around the stoppages on Sunday.
Coach Adam Bovalino, last time Bova was involved in back to back premierships he was senior captain and our very popular but fierce leader, one of Noosa's favourite sons under Wayne fletchers reign is now our non playing mentor and his players truly play for him. His game style is very impressive and great to watch with an emphasis on the one percenters and pressure. He loves this footy club and would love nothing better than to hold a senior cup up for the fourth time at Weyba rd.
